“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
(Jeremiah 1:5)

Brother Bakth Singh, youngest son of Rev. Dr. P. Joshi Anna, serves as National Director of Jesus Followers Ministries (JFM). With a tender heart shaped by prayer and his father’s mentorship, he carries forward the family legacy—proclaiming Christ in villages, media, and among the marginalized with steady obedience and compassion.

A Calling Confirmed

From childhood, Bakth Singh accompanied his father in ministry, learning verse-by-verse exposition and soul-winning. In 2008, during a visit from the UK, God’s clear call led him to surrender his career and return to India for full-time service.

For 12 years, he served under Joshi Anna’s guidance—traveling together like Elijah and Elisha, preaching in open-air crusades and building churches. Today, alongside brother Pastor John Spurgeon, he shepherds JFM’s wide-ranging work with the same shepherd’s heart.

Ministry with a Heart for the Lost

Bakth Singh’s burden mirrors his father’s: reaching the unreached through:

  • Evangelism: Open-air meetings, village outreaches, and gospel crusades.
  • Media: Daily TV on Aradhana Channel (7:30 PM), monthly JFM magazine editorials reaching Telugu believers worldwide.
  • Compassion Outreach: AIDS-affected children, rag pickers, transgender communities, orphans, elders, deaf/mute, leprosy patients, and disaster victims.
  • Crisis Response: Supported pastors and families during COVID-19 with practical aid and encouragement.

His message is simple: “Jesus changes lives, not religions.”

A Life of Obedience and Family

Rooted in Hyderabad, Bakth Singh is joined by his wife Sweeny Patricia and children Oswald Joseph Smith and Amen Joshi Selah. Like his father, he balances ministry with family, trusting God for every step.
