Jesus Followers Ministries exists to share the love of Jesus with those who are hurting, forgotten, and in need. Through our outreach ministries, we step outside the walls of the church to pray, serve, feed, clothe, and encourage people in our communities and beyond.
Our outreach vision
Our heart is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, demonstrating the gospel through both words and actions. We believe every act of kindness, every prayer, and every visit can plant a seed of hope in someone’s life.
Key outreach ministries
- Village & Community Outreach
We regularly visit villages and local communities to share the good news of Jesus, distribute tracts, pray for families, and encourage believers. These visits often include house‑to‑house prayer, small gatherings, and personal counselling. - Widows, Elderly and Needy Care
Many widows and elderly people live in loneliness and lack. Through special programs, home visits, and seasonal blessings (like blankets, groceries and simple celebrations), we remind them that God has not forgotten them. - Children & Youth Outreach
We organise children’s meetings, youth gatherings and vacation Bible programs to teach God’s Word, build strong foundations of faith, and provide a safe, loving environment where the next generation can grow in Christ. - Prayer & Healing Ministry
Outreach begins in prayer. Our teams intercede for the sick, troubled, and unreached, and also go out to pray with people in homes, hospitals, and communities, believing Jesus still heals and restores today. - Compassion & Relief (Food / Clothes / Seasonal Help)
Where there is practical need, we respond with practical love. From food distribution and clothing drives to special Christmas and festival outreaches, we share both the bread of life and daily bread.
