From the earliest days of our ministry, the power of radio has been one of God’s most effective tools for taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth. The Radio Ministry continues to reach hearts and homes that might never be touched through traditional means.

Global Evangelist and Broadcaster

In 1984, the Lord led our founder to join Trans World Radio (TWR), one of the world’s largest Christian broadcasting networks. Through the Telugu program Premadhara (“Stream of Love”), he began teaching the entire Bible verse by verse. Over a span of seven years, this broadcast reached an estimated 10 million listeners—a historic milestone in Telugu Christian media.

The clear and anointed teaching of Scripture brought thousands to faith, encouraged believers, and strengthened churches across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and the Telugu-speaking diaspora worldwide. Listeners grew in biblical knowledge and developed a deeper understanding of God’s Word in their own language.

For 14 years, he faithfully continued in radio ministry, later expanding God’s message through television outreach. Programs such as Samadhana Samayam – The Time of Peace offered prayer, counselling, and discipleship for people seeking comfort and direction. His calm, compassionate voice became a daily source of spiritual strength for countless families.

These programs were telecast on prominent networks including Gemini TV, Teja TV, Rakshana TV, and Aradhana TV. Remarkably, even on Gemini TV—a major secular channel—the Gospel program consistently received some of the highest viewership ratings (TRP), astonishing its management and showing God’s favor in reaching audiences far beyond church walls.

Jesus Followers Ministries

In 1998, after over 15 years of radio and media ministry, God birthed a new vision—Jesus Followers Ministries (JFM). Based in Hyderabad, JFM was founded with a clear mission: to reach the unreached Telugu-speaking people, numbering over 80 million globally, with the saving message of Jesus Christ.

Through Radio Ministry, Television Broadcasting, Gospel Literature, and Telephonic Prayer Support, JFM continues to connect people to Christ. The ministry also focuses on village evangelism, discipleship, and church planting among the poor and in remote regions—supported entirely by the compassionate prayers and giving of believers around the world.

Reaching the Unreached Through the Airwaves

For those living in remote or restricted areas, radio remains a lifeline of hope—a church-on-the-air. Each broadcast brings Scripture teaching, worship, testimonies, and encouragement in the listener’s native tongue. Whether played on shortwave, FM, or online streaming, these programs meet people where they are.

Listeners often call or write, sharing how the broadcasts changed their lives—offering peace in times of crisis, strength amid persecution, and faith to endure trials. Many have found local fellowships or planted home churches because a radio message once touched their heart.

Today, through FM broadcasts, internet radio, and digital platforms, our programs continue to spread the Gospel beyond geographical borders. The Radio Ministry now partners with prayer networks, local pastors, and volunteers to follow up with listeners who seek spiritual guidance.
